We work hard to ensure our equipment is in working order in accordance with fire standards and guidelines. Knowing that even the smallest fires can get out of control very quickly, to be able to provide our community with- effective and quick emergency responses is our highest priority. SOUTHERN JACKSON COUNTY

The Southern Jackson County Fire Protection District (the “District”) is seeking Design-Build Teams to submit qualifications to design and build the District’s construction of Fire Station #4 (the “Project”).  The District will utilize an internal evaluation method to determine which proposal is best suited for the Project.  The District will review all proposals and establish a short list of candidates and request presentations from each of those selected. 

Submissions to this RFQ are due by 3:00 PM, September 1, 2025.  There should be six (6) copies of the proposal with the final submission along with one electronic file (.pdf format on CD or USB flash drive). The package shall be marked: REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS – FIRE STATION 4. Submittals shall be addressed as follows:

Faxed, emailed, or telephoned proposals are not acceptable. Late RFQs will be retained and not receive consideration. All RFQ packages and materials submitted hereunder become the exclusive property of the District.

All requests to receive an RFQ packet, or make inquiries about this RFQ, should be addressed to Chief Large, Southern Jackson County Fire District. Specific inquiries will be compiled, answered, and issued via an addendum to this RFQ. Note, for this initial RFQ phase, no meetings with the District will be provided.

The District reserves the right to accept or reject all responses to this RFQ that do not meet the selection criteria, to waive irregularities or technicalities therein, and to conduct discussions with any or all respondents and others as the District deems necessary. The District also reserves the right to reject all proposals and re-issue this RFQ later. No compensation will be paid by the District for any costs or expenses incurred by any entity in responding to this RFQ or participating in the interview process. All persons submitting an RFQ agree that rejection shall create no liability on the part of the District because of such rejection.
